Excellent performance for Lion Truck Racing drivers at the Truck GP Castellet 2019

Anthony Janiec has achieved excellent times on this 1st date of the season. The Lion Truck Racing driver signed the 1st pole position on Saturday, followed by a victory on Race 1, which he dominated until the checkered flag. Started on the 4th line at the start of race 2 (reverse grid), he was unfortunately the collateral victim of a collision between José Sousa (Team VTR) and Lionel Montagne (Team Aravi Racing) which prevented him from finishing the race.

The damage was heavy and the mechanics worked all night to get the truck back on their pilot's truck. The reigning Champion was able to dominate the qualifiers by winning Superpole 2 with record time in 1:52: 958 and winning the race 3 at 0: 848 ahead of Thomas Robineau (Team Robineau). The trucks of these two drivers came into contact which broke the tire of Anthony who finished despite all 5th of the race.

Téo Calvet closed the week-end with the second victory of his career after having literally flown over race 4 thanks to a good start. It's a perfect start to the season for the young 18-year-old who won the four podiums of the weekend (Race 1: 3rd - Race 2: 2nd - Race 3: 3rd - Race 4: 1st).

Congratulations also to the mechanics Bruno Mosnier and Cyril Labadie who won the 3rd place of the mechanical test.

With 3 victories and 6 podiums, the team's record is positive for this first round of the French Championship.
