With two victories on the most important races of the weekend, Anthony Janiec takes the lead of the general classification with 24 points ahead of Thomas Robineau at the end of this 2d meeting of the French Truck Racing Championship in Nogaro. The Lion Truck Racing driver has signed the two pole positions of the weekend and he finished especially the race 3 largely in the lead with 7 sec. ahead of Lionel Montagne. A flat tire due to a clash on race 4 deprives him of a 4th podium but however he won the title of winner of the Trucks Nogaro GP thanks to his cumulative performance over the two days.
Téo Calvet had two great performances in the Super Pole finishing 3rd in front of the multiple Champion of France, Lionel Montagne. Despite a great start on race 2, he was also a victim of a heavy collision which deprived him of 3rd place.
Fortunately more fear than harm, the young driver was able to resume the start on Sunday and he was the author of an excellent race 4 where he was the fifth podium of the season ! He is now at the 2d place of the general ranking.
« Anthony had a great weekend, he won the Truck GP and took the lead in the Championship with a comfortable lead. And Téo, his three 4th positions and his podium allow him to get on the 2d place in the Championship. The two Lion Truck Racing drivers will be at the start of the biggest truck racing event in Europe in the Nürburgring Circuit on July 20th and 21st.
