The Lion Truck Racing driver has signed the 2 Superpoles this weekend with the 9thand 8thbest timings in qualifying sessions at the Most Truck GP (Czech Republic).
While he was maintaining the 8th position on race 1, which would have ensured him pole position on the next race, Anthony Janiec was sanctioned with a Drive-through by the race direction for having crossed the white line in trying to avoid Antonio Albacete who took a bad start. He finished his 12th race and managed to climb 3 places on the next race to finish P9 on the finish line and score points.
The Sunday afternoon program was severely disrupted by rainy and stormy weather. After being stopped under the red flag twice (and more than 2h30 apart), the race 3 was delayed then canceled, as well as the race 4.
The Grand Prix ended with a very good score for Anthony in 2:02:986, the 6th fastest times of the 2nd qualifying session.
The whole team is already on their way to the Charade Circuit to compete in the 3rd round of the French Truck Racing Championship on September 7th and 8th.
