Anthony Janiec, the Lion Truck Racing team rider, was crowned French Champion at the end of the first race of the Grand Prix Camions d'Albi on Saturday 14 October 2017.
After a very successful season, Anthony Janiec has proved that he deserves this title. Indeed, the Lion Truck Racing rider's coronation is far from being stolen as he has won 14 races, 17 podiums in the French Cup, 2 podiums in the 3 races in the European Championship and 3 podiums in Donington in the English Championship
While he was only 3 points from the ultimate victory after the 24 Hours of Truck Le Mans, health problems almost cost him his title. Nevertheless, he never gave up and his iron determination gave him the strength to overcome the pain to reach his goal.
32 years old, Anthony Janiec can finally claim victory and fully enjoy the first French Champion title of his career. The winner of a remarkable season, this victory rewards the hard work and consistency of the driver and the Lion Truck Racing teams.
The Lion Truck Racing team has added a third French Champion title to its list of achievements since its creation in 2012.
