The 2 Lion Truck Racing drivers remain in the Top 3

With 2 wins and 5 podiums, Anthony Janiec and Téo Calvet remain in the Top 3 of the FFSA general ranking at the end of the 3rd round of the French Truck Championship in Magny-Cours. Hats off also to the team's mechanics who once again shone in the mechanical event and won 3rd place !

Anthony Janiec announced the colour on Saturday with a pole position in race 1 where he finished second. Starting in 4th place in race 2, the Lion Truck Racing driver quickly took the lead in the race from the 1st lap to win his 1st victory on this 3rd round of the Championship. Anthony Janiec, Thomas Robineau and Lionel Montagne were all penalized in Sunday's qualifying session, starting in the middle of the peloton at the start of race 3, it only took Anthony 4 laps to climb ahead of Thomas Robineau and take his second victory. Anthony wins 59 points and remains 2nd in the FFSA general classification at mid-season.

Téo Calvet finished race 1 at the foot of the podium after a tough race in the fight with Lionel Montagne with very encouraging times. Following a collision with Yorick Montagne, the young driver was forced to retire in race 2 after having finished all the races of the season in the Top 5 until now. This did not prevent him from signing the 1st position of his career for race 3 at the end of the Sunday superpole. Téo fought brilliantly for 2nd place which he kept until the 7th lap and finished on the 3rd step of the podium behind Anthony Janiec and Thomas Robineau. He crossed the finish line of race 4 in 5th position with a flat left rear tire that prevented him from reaching the podium. He has gained 35 points and remains 3rd in the FFSA general ranking.

After this encouraging start of the season, the summer break will allow the team to work on the trucks and return even more efficient to Charade on September 1st and 2nd.
