The two Lion Truck Racing drivers are in the Top 3 of the FFSA ranking

Anthony Janiec was back on the first step of the Grand Prix podium this weekend on his Circuit of choice in Nogaro. He left no chance to his opponents by signing a 100% wins with 5 victories out of 5 races disputed. The French Champion is now close to the top of the FFSA standings, having won + 61 points.

After an excellent performance in Superpole Saturday morning where he finished 3rd just 0.007 seconds behind multiple champion Thomas Robineau, Téo Calvet has climbed twice on the 3rd step of the Grand Prix podium and has won the 2 wins of the Espoirs Ranking.

In the fight with Lionel Montagne on the final laps of race 4, Téo Calvet assured the show to position himself in 4th place. The young driver is now part of the favorites of the French Championship and ranks 3rd overall.

The mechanics of the team shone in the mechanical events by winning the 2nd place.

The two Lion Truck Racing drivers are more motivated than ever to win the few points that separate them from the top of the standings at the next round at Magny-Cours circuit on July 7 and 8.

1st podium for Anthony Janiec in FIA European Championship

The Lion Truck Racing driver has already scored 14 points after only two races at the Misano Truck Grand Prix (IT) and he is ranked 8th in the FIA's official ranking with the best European teams.

After a heavy clash at the start of race 1 and several incidents of racing, the team took advantage of a red flag to return to the stand in emergency and change the damaged wheel to allow his driver to resume the start of the race. Winning bet for the team because Anthony Janiec finished 6th in race 1, a result that ensured him the 2nd line at the start of the next race.

Anthony Janiec managed a good strat at race 2 and stayed in second position for 10 laps closely followed by Adam Lacko and Jochen Hahn. The fight was intense between these three champions and Anthony Janiec took the third step of the podium in front of Jochen Hahn.

Nevertheless, following the clash at the start of race 1, the axle of the racing truck was very heavily damaged. The team decided not to participate in races 3 and 4 for safety reasons.

Anthony Janiec is now on the top 10 of the FIA classification and the team is already preparing for the 2nd round of the FFSA French Championship at the Nogaro Circuit on June 9th and 10th.

The Lion Truck Racing team renews its trust in Anthony Janiec and Téo Calvet, a duo who has proved his worth during the 2017 season and who promises a great progression for the team.

Anthony Janiec #1, 2017 French Champion, will start his 4th season with the Lion Truck Racing team. Widely present on the French and European podiums in 2017, he intends to defend his title in the 6 rounds of the 2018 French Championship while measuring against his European counterparts on four dates: Misano (ETRC, May 27 & 26), Nürburgring ( ETRC, June 30 and July 1), Donington (BTRC, July 21 and 22) and Jarama (ETRC, October 07 and 08)

Téo Calvet #20, the 2017 French Rookie, with already several podiums with a first victory on his land in Nogaro. A result that proves his potential and makes him the youngest winner in the history of truck racing.
